The Downing Street Playgroup is a cooperative preschool founded in 1969 by a group of parents concerned with their children's education. The combined two- to four-year-old class is directed by a certified teacher working with an assistant teacher and a rotating parent teacher. Parent participation is an integral part of the success of the Downing Street Playgroup. Our aim is to create a supportive environment where learning is enjoyed, valued and becomes a life-long goal.
