Earlier this fall our volatile dollar was stronger than last year. By mid-October it weakened then strengthened against the Euro. Packages are based on July to September exchange rate averages so, as in the past, use them as ballparks. With 80% of hotel prices the same or less than last year, many are lower. One hasn't raised rates in more than seven years. Those in Austria, France and Italy may offer even better value for money.
