Sensible Sitters is a private babysitting and nanny placement agency servicing families in Manhattan, Los Angeles, and The Hamptons. We understand the desire and demand to find reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and qualified babysitters; therefore, we personally interview and screen candidates in order to provide your family with a network of skilled babysitters.

We have personally interviewed each sitter to make sure he or she meets the Sensible Sitters standards. Each of our experienced caregivers have been background-checked and are CPR-trained, and every sitter has a resume on file with contactable references. We specialize in working with college students, recent college graduates, young professionals and teachers. Our sitters come from all over the United States and their skills and talents are equally varied, allowing us to provide distinctive sitters for every unique family.

We understand the various medical, cultural, and dietary concerns of individual families, and we have recruited sitters who are specially-trained. Our team is furnished with sitters who can swim, ski, drive, are bilingual, are trained to work with children who have special needs or food restrictions, and are equipped to work with EpiPens.
