This wine bar offers a welcome escape from all the dives and chain restaurants surrounding Port Authority, unless you want to swill watery Bud Light every night. The narrow space isn't the fanciest in the area, but it will do if you're in the mood for a pre-theater glass of wine and some Mediterranean tapas. Cheese and charcuterie plates are available for less than $15, and skewers of meat are available for around $16 if you need to get your carnivore fix. They also offer cocktails, but there's nothing out of the ordinary on the menu (yes, you red correctly, they have a Tequila Sunrise on the list). Stick with classic martinis if you're swinging by for a post-Broadway-musical drink. The menu is the same as their sister restaurant on First Avenue and 62nd, which has since closed.
