Description:

67 Orange Street brings the speakeasy trend to Harlem, where it's serving up thoughtful cocktails like the Whiskey Bang and the La Josephine (crafted by an in-house mixologist), and small plates like grilled veal skewers and deviled eggs (all less than $11) in a rustic-lush setting. Lots of stone, distressed wood, vintage mirrors and purple velvet. A tiny VIP area down below (which holds about 10 people) offers an alternative to the tightly packed upstairs. Inspired by Almack's Dance Hall, one of Harlem's first black-owned and -operated bars in NYC, 67 Orange aims to channel the neighborhood's cultural pastand re-create historic drinkswhile keeping it swank and modern. And the name is an homage to Almack's last location, so don't be confusedit's not on Orange Street.
