Everyone likes '70s-themed throwback Welcome to the Johnson's for one reason: it's cheap. However, it's recently started to develop an odd, musty odor and packs in an irksome crowd who clearly seem to have just discovered the neighborhood. Enter Sweet Paradiseit's owned by the same folks, offer the same level of cheap booze (we're talking well drinks for $4), but is devoid of the fanfare surrounding the Lower East Side bar scene. Not to mention, it boasts better seating and definite dancing capabilities and an array of movie candy for sale.
