The bar/restaurant that was once known as Red Stripe (but the official beer-makers got testy) gave itself a makeover and changed its name to Spur Tree, after a town in Jamaica and the sprawling, umbrella-like eponymous tree. Drinks here are transportingly fresh, and the (surprisingly cheap, beautifully tasty) food is one of the best values in the neighborhood. We recommend any drinks that involve fresh fruit or just-crushed ginger juice, as well as the lusciously tangy and juicy jerk wings.
