When you wake up from a night out, and the only word to describe your crazy time on the town is "bedlam", that's typically a good thing. The owners of this Alphabet City space are trying to channel that ideathey've set up a no-frills drink spot where you manage to hang out until last call. Even though Bedlam doesn't overdo it, they still manage to get in plenty of taxidermy. The moose head hanging from the wall is probably the biggest thing in the room, and he looks like he's about to reach down and bite your beer away at any second. There are a number small booths and plenty of nooks where you can squirrel away and drink way too much. Don't expect any fancy mixology here. Judging by the plaid-wearing crowd, the signature drink could be called a "double-fist"that's a beer in one hand and a shot of whiskey in the other.
