Description:

Living snugly below a [now closed!] pizza joint, this East Village subterranean haunt, run by the same people behind Niagara, the Bowery Electric and Black & White, offers no-frills booze (beer, shots) in a cozy, shadowy, residential-type space that's outfitted with a fireplace (framed pictures on the mantle), books and an outdoor patio.

Since the close of the pizza shop upstairs, in the fall of 2009, Cabin patrons can enter on Seventh Avenue by walking down an alley staircase and through the bar's smoking area.
