Formerly Bar 108, this Houston Street watering hole has reopened after a quick spruce-up and a change in ownership. Drinkers will still recognize these digs as a place to grab a few easy beers before heading somewhere nicer for dinner. Or, you can stay all night and eat in. Their menu is full of pub offerings like fish and chips and chicken fingers. If you're looking for a deal, come by early. The bar offers nightly specials until 8 p.m. The biggest change has to be the new bar's coat-of-arms, which is painted on the side of the building. This blue-and-yellow symbol signifies that you're part of a very special club of heavy drinkers.
