Brought to us by the owners of Cain, this blinged-out nightspot seems to scream "Las Vegas!" a bit louder than it does "Chinatown!" The gilded theme takes complete precedence from the gold ceilings, chandeliers and chains used in lieu of velvet ropes, to the hundreds of gold skulls firmly implanted in the walls of the back lounge. The super-tough door policy is a tad dated, likely making GoldBar a destination strictly for scenesters looking for not much else but to get past a tight door. Who knows, maybe it's the $17 cocktails whose signature ingredient is what else golden-hued honey.
