Baby John Delutro's Italian speakeasy, My Little Secret, has perhaps taken the idea of secrecy to its ultimate extreme: disappearance. In its stead. The Mulberry Project, a subterranean drink spot from vets of Milk and Honey, GoldBa and Bagatellea team armed with fresh produce for cocktails like the Pajama (Pisco, honey syrup, lemon juice, strawberries, ginger), Vodka fruit Collins (vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, fruit, peychaud bitters), and the French 149 (lime, St. Germain, gin, fruit). Instead of Italian snacks, The Mulberry Project has enlisted Boqueria merc Mike Chaplin for a menu of little plates topped with crispy pork belly, braised short rib sliders and crispy calamari. And for visual treats, expect to see graffiti art by Curtis Kulig.
