Seekers of the best live jazz and samba music in lower Manhattan need look no further than Zinc Bar, a desirable sous-sol music venue in the West Village (the venue moved from SoHo in 2008). Warning: In the past, there's been a cover at the door and a two drink minimum per set, so the evening can end up costly.
