Medi takes its inspiration from the Mediterraneanif you didn't already guess that from the name, you were probably able to figure it out from the white tile and dcor that looks as if it were transported directly from the set of "Mamma Mia." In addition to offering an extensive wine list that features plenty of vino from the region (glasses go for under $9 a pop), the spot offers small plates and bites that are made for sharing. The food arrives from an open kitchen, and although there are a number of tables in the dining room, but place to be is at the long bar. (Who would have known that the spot used to house a run-of-the-mill paint shop?) If you're looking for a private party, check out the wine cellar, which also houses a posh dining room.
