A onetime carriage house, warehouse and whorehouse, this civilized, bi-level Hell's Kitchen establishment was converted using all natural materials, opening the space while retaining a warm and therapeutic feela healing mentality that seems to extend to everything from the cocktails to the rustic, wood-paneled ambience. The ground floor boasts a cozy sitting area, while upstairs serves as a cabaret of sorts, complete with tables and sofas facing a small stage where nightly shows preside and a very attractive, quasi-Chelsea crowd (sans the muscle bunnies and attitude) sip "therapeutic" cocktails like the "Freudian Sip" and the "Pavlov's Dog."
