It's no coincidence this bar seems so brown inside. It's not just the color of the walls; it's the color of all those potent spirits behind the bar. On the Rocks definitely has any libation that suits your fancy, but if you come here you should be ready to drink some whiskey. They've got it in the form of bourbon and Scotch, the latter of which is locked behind a small glass box at the side of the bar to prevent brown spirit hooligans from stealing a dram when the bartender isn't looking. The space is small. Like, very small. The narrow room features a few stools at a bar, and some pushed up against the wall in the hallway that leads to the back of the space. The spot draws a selection of locals that are looking for a quiet space and curious folks drawn over to Tenth Avenue for the hooch.
