Once a nameless bar the on a tiny stretch of Little West 12th Street, this charming Meatpacking District gem recently was bestowed an indentity, thanks to the owner of Soho staples Barolo and I Tre Merli. A slim bar takes up the front room whose ambience is little more than lipstick red upholstery, exposed brick and candlelightwhere patrons dine on fresh Italian and Mediterranean fare. The real draw, however, is the all-seasons rear garden equipped with brick walls and illuminated trees. A retractable roof keeps it open year-round.
