Meatpacking club One Little West 12th is dressing down, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. (If Ke$ha can pull of trashcan chic, so can this reboot). While the singer actually wakes up looking like that, The Collective got famed designers iCrave in their corner. The dcor is heavy on the thingamabobs. Want bottle caps collected from restaurants around the neighborhood? They've got plenty. They've also got a wall made of used Legos, a Styrofoam ceiling and a host station constructed with plane parts. The menu is a similar hodgepodge of comfort-food goodies. Chef Todd Miller's eclectic choices include a chicken 'n' waffles appetizer, Hong Kong ribs and a cluck monsieur (the traditional sandwich with smoked chicken). There's also something called a "baked Alaska ding dong"we're not sure what's going on there. Despite the changes, this is still the heart of the Meatpacking District. The crowds that flock here didn't pull their fancy shoes from any dumpster, that's for sure.
