While the owners of this West Indies speakeasy may have missed the mark with the theme (nothing about mini-Persian rugs and antique Edison light bulbs conjures the easygoing vibe of the Caribbean), they succeeded in striking a balance between seedy dive and swanky lounge. To wit, bottle service is available but not mandatory to sit at one of the six tables upstairs; a concealed area below for private parties resembles more of a basement rec-room than VIP lounge and house concoctions like Randolph's own blend of lemon concentrate, imported beer and vodka will run you $30for an entire pitcher. Making it that much more difficult to pigeonhole the place, Sunday nights pay tribute to Prince by blasting the artists hits from the intricate mosaic DJ booth.
