A slightly secret bar that's happily more Christmas-chintzy than speakeasy-ish (that omnipresent decor choice du jour), the diminutive Back Room at Caf Select (so called because it's... in the back/downstairs room at Caf Select) is tricked out mostly in simple tables and chairs, cheap and glittery tinsel, and metal and concrete. It's relaxed and fun rather than reverential and extra-secret, which as far as trendy and under-the-radar bars go is a welcome change.
