And now for a little vino and manchego: Socarrat (the restaurant) has opened Soccarat Bar de Vinos, a good-looking, romantic wine bar and tapas restaurant next door. It's a splinter-sized spot outfitted in exposed brick and flattering lightperfect stuff for wintertime dates and suchand it serves reasonably priced small plates, like Spanish chorizo-and-sardine flatbread and Serrano ham empanadas.
