There is much experience behind this wine and tapas bar in Midtown, which is run by the same folks who opened the Pierre Loti restaurant and wine bars in other parts of the city. Here, you'll find the same excellent list of vino (with dozens by the glass and even more on the bottle list) served in an intimate setting with pub height tables and windows that open onto the street. The menu contains the unique combination of influences from France and Turkey, with internationally inspired options that range from Turkish beef dumplings to grilled quail. If you're going to be in the neighborhood, call ahead to hear about their specials. Free wine tastings take place on Monday, and on certain days you'll be able to score 25 percent off the grub (which will leave you with enough cash to buy another glass of winesweet!).
