The awning outside of this Upper West Side spot reads "wine restaurant." The area is glutted with wine bars (Tangled Vine, Wine and Roses, Bin 71), so this one tries to differentiate itself with a menu of dishes like a raw bar platter ($22) and chicken liver crostini ($9). If you're looking for something a bit heartier, check out the T-bone steak, cooked Brazillian-style ($26). The wine list doesn't limit itself geographically, you're just as likely to find a bold Tuscan red as you are spritely Sauvignon from Down Under. The vino goes down well with the dcorall that exposed brick gives off a wine-cellar vibe. Quite fitting for a wine bar. Oh waitwe mean wine restaurant!
