Located directly on the fringe of Union Square Park, this literal hideaway is small, dark and casually chic. No beers on tap, but you can get a Boddington's and make your own draught. Plenty of bottled beers and reasonably priced cocktails. The nearly floor-to-ceiling windows stay wide open during summer months, allowing a breeze to pass through the often cramped space and allowing smokers to do their thing and still be in arm's length of their drink.
