A dive is a dive is a dive, and Lucy's embodies that cozy, time-honored diviness. The actual Lucy works behind the bar (which she's done since the '70s) and keeps the placefilled with tchotchkes, old posters and vintage fluorescent tube lightsrunning smoothly. A jukebox and a pair of pool tables keep the neighborhood regulars happy, and the stiff drinks don't hurt either. It can get crowded on the weekends, but the vibe never escalates beyond good-natured rowdiness.
