Located high above Eighth Avenue, this rooftop lounge occupies the space that formerly housed Highbar. The spruce up brings a sleek, white feel to the barwhite couches are for chillin, while a glass roof will keep you dry if the weather takes a turn for the worse. You still access the lounge via a private elevator down on the street, so the air of exclusivity that brought people to the bar's former incarnation still holds. Sure to be popular with the after-work set looking for a little sun during the warm months, the bar pours drinks like the Big Apple Sour, a concoction of Rye, applejack, lemon and maple syrup. While it might be a bit tricky to assemble a full dinner, a menu of small plates will be servedthink cheese platters and panini for sustenance. As the night moves on, expect things to heat up with a schedule of DJs (and when the lights of the surrounding buildings sparklethere will sure be some choice views).
