"House Beautiful" magazine designed a breezy, summery and Caribbean-style lounge and restaurant at Rockefeller Plaza that's only briefly for this worldsort of like a glamorous but fragile tropical flowerbut while it's with us it's lovely. Bar 30 by House Beautiful is serving lunch, dinner and fresh cocktails from the Rock Center Caf's menu (like lobster rolls, crab cake sliders and pineapple carpaccio) as well as lounge bites (like grilled shrimp kebobs and summer salad) from nearby AJ Maxwell's. The 2,000-square-foot tropical cabana-type lounge seats about 50, indoor and out.
