Palace Gate, The Palace Hotel's spacious courtyard bar and lounge (you might have seen it in, ahem, more than a few Gossip Girl scenes), serves wines by the glass as well as genteel specialty summer cocktails, like the Palace Punch and the Pineapple Mint Julep, along with bar bites from neighboring restaurant Gilt (like oysters, suckling pig tacos and their frighteningly addictive truffled French fries), in its green, umbrella-ed and wrought-iron patio. Very classy.
