The safety and style perils involved in mixing drinking and hair cuts seems apparent, but that didn't stop The Blind Barber for combining the two services at this swanky retro-style bar in the East Village. On the ground level, The Blind Barber appears to be just that, a barber shop. But upon closer inspection, hidden in the back room is cocktail lounge, decked out with antiques and interior touches from a bygone-era. Cocktails, such as the aptly named Sweeney Todd, are $12 each and for those with an appetite, pizzas from Gnocco run in the $12-$20 range.
