Run and owned by Guyanese-born chemist Sunita Lofters, the eponymous Sunita Bar is a calm and quiet gem of thoughtful cocktails and good conversation embedded among more clamoring hotspots The Back Room and Nurse Bettie. The crowd is made up mostly of regulars, bar-goers sick of the overwhelming LES scene and the occasional out-of-towner paying a visit.
