Pongsri Thai began decades ago in Chinatown, where it was to become the oldest family-run Thai restaurant in New York City. This Chelsea location is the newest branch in this family's tree of Thai domination, offering many of the specialties the other Pongsris are known for, including Pla Rad Prik snapper and Nyia Yank Num Jim steak. Service is harried but efficient, and prices are reasonable.
