Description:

Chef Paul Simion (Madiba, Negril) wanted a space of his own to cook the South African food of his homeland. His parner Manu Dhingra had the space. The result is a narrow bi-level 50-seat restaurant with brushed wood keeping the mood light. The menu is equally playful. Along with spicy peri-peri spiked wings or prawns, the signature dish is the bunny chow, a popular street food for the workers looking for a self-contained meal. A hollowed out loaf of bread is filllled with curry of your choice (lamb, chicken, shrimp, lentils), topped chutney shards of coconuts and removed bread served on the side. On the sweet side traditional offerings include a cream and fruit filled milk tart and a cakey malba pudding.
