This East Village pizzeria, located at the old old Caf Brama space on Second Avenue, takes its crust seriously: They won't allow you to order more than four toppings on any one pie, lest the crust grow overwhelmed and become soggy. Pizza police! A high-heat gas oven should keep things nice and crisp, and quality toppings like housemade mozzarella and tomato sauce, plus imported specialties like prosciutto di parma and aged parmesan, should be enough to satisfy even those who like their pies piled high. Pizzas run from $15 to $20, and come in two different sizes. The menu also boasts four kinds of homemade ravioli, plus a full bar and extensive Italian-focused wine list.
