If a deep-fried hot dog smothered in caloric appendages sounds like something you might be in to, head over to St. Marks Place and order up any number of Crif's famous dogs, like the Chihuahua (a bacon-wrapped dog covered with avocado and sour cream), the Temptee (cream cheese and bacon) or the Tsunami (bacon-wrapped, teriyaki, pineapple and green onions.) And those are only a few. The vibe is old-school, the crowd mixed and the PBR cold. Oh, and dudethey totally offer a variety of Stoner Packs (they're now officially called Crif Packs, to appease scandalized diners) for the curiously hungry: a surprise grab bag of the joint's offerings.
