Pro tip: If you're starting a lobster restaurant, it doesn't hurt to be a former lobsterman from Maine with a dad who runs a famous seafood company. Following that advice is 25-year-old Luke Holden, whose restaurant, Luke's Lobster, serves up fresh-from-the-ocean Jonah crab claws, shrimp rolls, chowders andthe main attractiona $14 lobster roll, made with four heaping ounces of freshly shelled, lightly seasoned and gorgeously pink Maine lobster meat (delivered directly to New York by Portland Shellfish company) and crammed into an oh-so-lightly mayonnaised bun. (Smaller 2-ounce minis are also available, for $8.) The space is sandwiched between the two Caracas spots and decorated to feel clam-shack chic, with authentic, Maine-sourced accentsnets, buoys and the likeand a laid-back vibe. They're also serving until 2 a.m. on the weekends (Thursday through Saturday) and until midnight the rest of the week, should you be hit with a late-night lobster craving. Oh, and come spring, there'll be a menu of Maine beers, too, just in case you forgot where you were.
