The signature items at chef Shachar Barnea's Press NY, which is opening two locations this fall, are its Swiss sandwicheshot dough pressed with an iron and toasted to form an unmistakable flatbread wrap, which is then packed with the fillings of your choice. Go meaty with rib eye or chicken breast, or veggie with eggplant and goat cheese, then slather with any combination of lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, onions, avocados and pickles, then drizzle with homemade sauces like roasted-radish barbecue, garlic jalapeno or tahini. Cap it all off with a side of spicy fries, if you're so inclined. Kind of like Subway, but better. And Swisser.
