Like a duck that won't stop quacking, this French bistro looks cute but quickly loses it charm when you realize that the fare is all feather and no fat. Though the Left Bank look is not that originalthrow a loafer downtown and you'll hit onethis eatery gets the details right, with pressed tin, wainscotting, brick and a big blue awning outside. The kitchen has also done its homework, with such traditional classics as escargots, coq au vin and a cassoulet with duck, lamb, pork and garlic sausage all in a row. Fine, but not inspired.
