Description:

The Player's Club is a swanky destination for theatre industry people (membership required) and their guests. the club has seen actors from Bogart to Bacall (probably together, come to think of it) and writers from Hemingway to Steinbeck. Open for lunch and dinner every day, as well as brunch on Sunday. The decor is stunning and mansion like, with high ceilings, chandeliers and paintings everywhere. The menu is rather reasonable for such an elegant atmosphere, with the steak topping the list at $22.
