Asian gets the Chipotle treatment: cheap, shiny and do-it-yourself. This franchise, which originated in Amsterdam and opened an outpost in Serbia around the same time as this Village version, is doomed to do well thanks to its proximity to time-, dollar- and gastronomically-starved NYU students. The 3-easy-step concept is as simple as a pyramid scheme. Choose a base (noodle, rice), choose toppings (chicken, beef, veggies) and choose a sauce (curry, teriyaki, oyster, etc.)which leaves you with the same feeling (it seemed like a good idea at the time).
