Description:
Michael Psilakis didn't have much luck with his last restaurant at this space, Gus & Gabriel, which sank after just year. Will a seafood concept finally get things swimming? He's betting on it, morphing the onetime gastropub into this "fish parlor," as he's calling it, serving a variety of Mediterranean-leaning seafood arranged on the menu from "light" to "bold." Which means plates that goes from a bright scallop sashimi with pickled beet tartare, to a hearty grilled branzino stuffed with head cheese and mushroom confit. In interesting twist, diners can choose to have their fish cooked one of two ways: as described on the menu, or grilled simply with lemon and olive oil. You'll wanna congratulate Psilakis one on thing though: He hooked Ryan Skeen! Yep, the peripatetic chefwho's been at four restaurants in three yearshelped develop the menu.
