Although namesake chef Laurent Tourondel has left the company, BLT Restaurant Group has been go! go! go!, carrying on with this new patty joint on the Upper East Side. Sure, the de rigueur burger varieties are hereclassic, blue cheese, turkey, veggie, salmon. But you'll also find wacko signature burgers, including something called an "UltiMELT": a burger sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches. Two. Can't get your head (or your mouth) around that? Sip some boozy milkshakes (Kahlua, Maker's Mark, Bailey, etc.) and you just might comprehend the sandwich insanity, all while munching on fish tacos, chicken wings and Kobe dogs.
