Second Avenue has a glossy and upscale new sports bar in Cornerstone Tavern, serving microbrews on draft alongside hearty American pub grub (wings, burgers) in a two-floor space equipped with exposed brick, HD plasma flat screens and reams of polished wood. The upstairs has a slightly tonier vibe, and can be reserved for private parties.

Happy hour lasts all day, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., when draughts and well drinks are $4; Wednesdays are trivia nights; Sundays are for karaoke; and the weekends are for brunching. And whenever there's a game on (as in, every night), you can get that in too.
