Does a restaurant's name really need two "i"'s? Apparently, you can never have too much of a good thiing when it comes to this eco-conscious canteen, the first NYC location of a burgeoning 60-branch global franchise with roots in Toronto. They certainly received the "An Inconvenient Truth" memo: Their materials are recycled (i.e. order tickets are reused as flyers), packaging materials are biodegradable, and the store is energy efficient. The food itself is a mix-and-match pastiche of wraps, salads and bowls, into which you can jam everything from cheeses to nuts to meats to about 22 fruits and veggies. If you're the type to hem and haw, just zero in on one of their signature, like "Bliss" bowl with brown rice, roasted peppers, avocado, goat cheese, balsamic and extra virgin olive oil. They even encourage you to bring your own bowl, which they'll wash and fill with whatever you order. Have bowl, will pig out!
