The folks behind Dublin6 and Trinity Place complete their Holy Trinity with The Bailey, FiDi's newest pub and brasserie. But don't show up expecting a sermon: Big Bails' bringing Wall Streeters closer to God with chef Donal Crosbie's eclectic bistro menu of dishes like a bacon-slabbed house burger, fancy mac and cheese, and PEI mussels in white wine, along with daily specials. In case of a liquidity crisis, saddle up to the walnut bar for ample champagne and wine, bottle and draft beer, and cleverly named house cocktails best enjoyed with a toast ("No Liability") or comped for a recently unemployed, overweight thirtysomething ("Going Pear Shaped"). Regal banquettes and big street-side windows round out this Bailey's-wick.
