Description:

Despite the clever (annoying?) name, a reference to its Chelsea location, post-dinner is prime time for this restaurant that later evolves into a full-on bar serving myriad martinis, margaritas and sugar-sweet cocktails that can best be classified as liquid dessert, with names like Strawberry Shortcake and Gingerbread Maker. During daytime, salads, sandwiches and burgers comprise the unremarkable bill of fare, whereas dinner steps up its game with cedar-roasted wild salmon in dill butter and a pork porterhouse served with cherry-apple chutney. Weekend brunchers can break their hangovers with a $16 prix fixe deal that includes two Bloody Marys or Mimosas and a coffee plus standard brunch items (brioche French toast, buttermilk waffles) with not so standard touches (cherry lemon compote and Lebanese yogurt gelato, respectively) before the whole cycle starts all over again.
