By no means is this small outdoor space next to the Soho Grand Hotel the largest outdoor lounge in town, but when youre tucked away from the traffic on Canal Street, it sure does provide a sense of escape. Cooks work on an outdoor grill that fires up summery items like burgers, which you can enjoy with upscale options like king crab legs or oysters. (Cupcake addicts will be happy to know that red velvets are indeed available.) There are also plenty of tasty cocktails that hit the spot, especially on those almost unbearable hot summer days. While it always is a good choice when youre looking for a laid-back outdoor spot, the nights to drop in are Thursday and Friday, when the hotel brings in some hip DJs and a stylish downtown set shows up to party.
