Husband-and-wife team Kevin and Amy Miceli have made the East Village branch of their cafe, Ciao for Now, a laid-back neighborhood favorite. With their new West Village location, they're sure to attract a whole new batch of locals stopping in for a pre-work coffee and muffin, as well as sugar-addicts seeking out the cafs delicious bite-size mini cupcakes. For savory fare, the new spot features the same vegetarian- and vegan-friendly range of soups, salads and sandwiches, but with only a couple of indoor and outdoor benches for seating. Your best bet is to grab your order and nosh on the go.
