A step away from the West 4th Street subway station, Ottomans Caf serves Turkish kebabs, falafel wraps and juices. The owners hail from Istanbul, so their consider this the real deal. Theres a salad bar stocked with fresh fruits, greens and hummus, and appetizers like chopped-cucumber yogurt and baba ganoush. For lunch or dinner, mains like the signature doner kebab (ground lamb with veggies and their special red-and-white sauce) can be ordered on pita bread or a wrap. You can create your own fresh juices and smoothie combinations, too, or try more traditional Turkish yogurt drinks (ayran) and teas. The sleek food bar is takeout-friendly, but theres also plenty of seating and a small patio out back.
