This tiny new space, holding around 12-15 tables, isn't going for ambience: a visit here will probably include a too-loud Hot 97 soundtrack and silent flat screens turned to ESPN. But as a solid lunch spot in the gastro-deficient Midtown area near MSG, it's already won our hearts. The lunch specials (between $6.50-8) are standard Japanese/Thai fare: sesame chicken, chicken with coconut curry, sushi, etc. But the food was fresh, the service quick and final bill more than reasonable.
