Despite the silly name, this Thai restaurant is thankfully pretty serious about their seafood. Located just off Union Square, in a nice but unmemorable dining room and located in an in-between neighborhood that badly needed a good go-to like this, Catch de Fish has developed an interesting way to order from their modern menu. First select a fish (or chicken or meat); select a cooking method (broiled, pan seared or poached), and then select from one of the unique sauces, like Panang curry or sweet and spicy tamarind chili. Or they can choose the preperation for you, like with New Zealand mussels or a seafood stew.
